Whistleblowing

Whistleblower protection

In accordance with the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act (HSchG), Maris Business Solutions operates an internal reporting channel. Employees, applicants, suppliers, contractors and other persons in a professional relationship with us can use it to report breaches of law — for example in the areas of corruption, procurement, data protection, product safety, the environment, money laundering or consumer protection.

How to submit a report

We accept reports in writing or, on request, in a personal meeting:

  • By email to [report@…] — the mailbox of the internal reporting office, accessible only to the designated persons bound to confidentiality
  • By post to Maris Business Solutions, Internal Reporting Office, [street and number], [postcode city], Austria, marked “Confidential – Reporting Office”
  • In person by appointment via one of the addresses above

Reports may also be made anonymously. We confirm receipt within seven days and provide feedback on the measures taken within three months.

Your protection

Anyone who reports in good faith is protected against retaliation such as dismissal, transfer, disadvantage or intimidation. The identity of the reporting person remains confidential and is not disclosed without their consent unless the law requires otherwise. We process personal data solely to handle the report; reports are deleted five years after completion unless statutory obligations require longer retention.

External reporting office

Independently of the internal channel, reports may also be submitted to the external reporting office: the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK), whistleblower system at www.bak.gv.at. Other authorities are responsible for specific areas (such as the Financial Market Authority or the Data Protection Authority).
