Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is Maris Business Solutions [legal form], [street and number], [postcode city], Austria, email [email address]. In accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), this statement explains which data we process when you visit this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
Data protection officer: [name and contact details, if appointed — otherwise delete this paragraph].
Hosting and server logs
This website is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (Nuremberg data centre). When a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, data volume transferred, browser and operating system. These logs serve security and trouble-free operation and are deleted after a short time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.
Contact form and enquiries
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, company and subject where given, and your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The data is stored in our content management system, which runs on our own server. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or your consent given on submission (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by email.
We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply, at the latest after [period, e.g. 12 months]. To protect against abuse, the server checks every submission (for example for automated senders); the IP address is processed temporarily for this purpose.
Cookies and consent
This website uses only one technically necessary cookie (pc_consent), which stores your cookie consent decision. We do not use cookies for statistics or marketing. The cookies used are listed in detail in the Cookie Policy. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer of every page.
We record consents given or refused with the time and the categories selected so that we can demonstrate them (Art. 7(1) GDPR). This record does not contain an IP address.
No analytics or advertising services
We do not use analytics or tracking services, advertising networks or social media plugins. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google or other providers. Links to external platforms such as LinkedIn lead to their websites, where the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Disclosure and transfer
We disclose personal data only where this is necessary to handle your enquiry, where you have consented, or where we are legally obliged to do so. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU. Service providers processing data on our behalf (such as the hosting provider or an email service) are contractually bound to comply with data protection law.
Applications
We process application documents you send us by email or via an application portal to carry out the application procedure (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, § 10 Austrian AVRAG). Only the persons involved in the selection process have access. If no employment relationship is established, we delete the documents seven months after the procedure ends, unless you expressly consent to longer retention for future positions (then for a maximum of two years). If you are hired, the documents become part of your personnel file.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address above. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, phone +43 1 52 152-0, email dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.

We update this privacy policy when the technology of the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies. Last updated: [month year].
